Pricing will be announced before we charge anyone.

WageDocket is currently in active development. Beta testers get free access during the entire beta period. When we move to paid plans, we’ll announce pricing clearly and in advance — no surprise billing. Early-access pricing will be offered to waitlist members first.

Common Questions

Do I have to replace my payroll system to use WageDocket?

No. WageDocket is a compliance layer that sits on top of your existing payroll system. You keep QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, or whatever you use for payroll. WageDocket takes the export from that system and handles the certified payroll compliance workflow from there.

What file formats does WageDocket accept?

CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files are the primary supported import formats. WageDocket is designed to handle real-world payroll exports — including files with irregular header placement, abbreviated classification names, and multi-sheet workbooks.

Does WageDocket support New Jersey as well as New York?

New York (NYSDOL portal and Article 8 compliance) is the primary focus for the initial launch. Federal WH-347 support is included. New Jersey (MW-562 / NJ Wage Hub format) is on the roadmap and will be evaluated based on customer demand and early traction.

We have a construction bookkeeper who handles our certified payroll — can they use WageDocket?

Yes, and we want to talk to them. A multi-client mode for construction bookkeepers and payroll services is on the product roadmap. If your bookkeeper handles certified payroll for multiple subcontractor clients, contact us directly — their input will shape how we build that workflow.

What happens when the beta ends?

Pricing will be announced clearly and in advance before the beta period ends. Beta participants will be notified directly with pricing details and the opportunity to continue at early-adopter rates before pricing goes public.

Is WageDocket a payroll processor?

No. WageDocket does not process payroll, calculate taxes, pay employees, or file tax forms. It is a certified payroll compliance and reporting tool. Your payroll stays with your existing payroll provider.
